Families and community

Families are part of the journey

No one knows your child quite like you do.

We believe the strongest early learning experiences are built through genuine partnerships between children, families and educators.

From orientation and your child’s first day through to daily communication, learning updates and family involvement, we want families to feel informed, welcomed and connected.

Family partnerships

Walking together from day one

Orientation and settling in

A gentle introduction to the centre, the educators and your child’s room.

Communication

Daily conversations and shared moments help families feel close to their child’s day.

Learning updates

Thoughtful reflections on your child’s growth, interests and friendships.

Family involvement

Families are welcomed into the life of the centre and the experiences children share.

Our community

Connected to our community

As TinyWings grows, this space will share confirmed community services, partnerships and initiatives. We want children and families to feel connected to the wider place they live, learn and grow.

Community services and partnerships will be added here as they are confirmed.

Acknowledgement of Country

Learning with respect

TinyWings Early Learning & Kindergarten acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people, including the Gunung-Willam-Balluk clan, as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our Craigieburn community learns, plays and grows. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture, community and learning. We are committed to helping children develop respect for First Nations peoples, cultures and connections to Country through meaningful and age-appropriate learning experiences.
